Slow But Steady Progress
Although I haven't posted in quite a while, I have been making progress in small steps. Here are several things I've been working on over the past few months:
Carl - When you put your fuel pump (FP) into the new tank, how tall was the FP (what kind) and how far off the bottom of the tank was it? I am looking at a new GM Camaro pump and noted the multiple pickups that can go on such as shown on Vaporworx website. Wanted to pick your brain before leaping off the cliff. - Joe
I used the F-body FP. It goes to the bottom of the tank and is exactly the right height if you install it using the Vetteworks adapters. See the link below. I bought a used FP and used their adapters. I did not use the F-body FP fuel level sensor. I used the stock ones at the bottom of the tank and blocked off the stock fuel outlet. Look at my esrlier post about the fuel system fabrication.
Thanks Carl. You've got a lot going on, what with motorcycles and your other "projects". Enjoy the ride... As they say, it's about the journey, not just the final destination. Keep up the posts. They are appreciated. - Joe
